Collection: Woodlands

Capturing the beauty of a woodland in a photograph is notoriously difficult - they are often damp, dark and always chaotic, with light reflecting off shiny leaves creating hot spots and reflections that can destroy an image. However, for me the process of capturing an image is calming and brings a real sense of achievement, something that increasingly I have come to relish and seek out, not least because on my doorstep in Bristol Leigh Woods offers endless opportunity.
