Ideally suited to beginner and less experienced photographers wanting to experiment with night-time photography. This course runs in Bristol and will teach approaches to photograph in low light and darkness and understand how to creatively use light trails and star bursts to take your images to another level
The tuition is normally fulfilled in and around Bristol, often at the Harbourside or Clifton Suspension Bridge. Details are as follows:
Time: Starting 1 hr before sunset the course will take place over 21/2 hours to allow for some night photography to also be practised
Cost: As shown for up to 2 people attending together

An overview of the essential equipment needed for low light and night photography
A review of the different camera settings needed for low light photography
Focusing and exposure techniques and how to choose the most appropriate exposure modes
Composition for night photography
Long exposure light trails
Painting with light
Creating Star bursts
Equipment needed
All DSLR, mirrorless, compact or bridge cameras allowing full manual control of aperture, shutter speed and ISO and ideally a tripod.
